This position is called the spoon position because of the close fit of the two bodies.

How To Do

• The partners lie on their sides and the man enters from behind

This position is :

• good for slow sensual lovemaking before going to sleep, or on waking during the night, as it is very intimate and relaxing
• a comfortable position in later pregnancy which does not put to much pressure on the woman's belly
